NHS Participates in PennDOT’s “Paint a Plow” Contest

Neshannock High School art students, under the direction of Mr. Ned Yahn, took part in PennDOT’s “Paint a Plow” program.  Along with several other area school districts, Neshannock designed and painted a one-of-a-kind snow plow that will encourage motorist to drive with caution as the winter weather approaches.  To add a little competitive fun to the program, PennDOT will be awarding winners based on panel judging as well as a Facebook “Fan Favorite”  judging system.  To vote for your favorite plow, please follow the directions below:

  • Now through Oct 30, the public can visit the “District 11” photo album on the PennDOT Facebook page and “Like” the plow blade that they wish to vote for in the “Fan Favorite” contest.
  • The school that receives the most “Likes” on their blade photo will win. There will be one winner from each county.
  • The winning school will be notified next month.

Visit PennDOT’s Facebook Page today to vote for Neshannock’s snow plow!  May the best blade win!
