Generosity Abounds at NTSD

The spirit of giving is alive and well at Neshannock Township School District.  Several service projects are underway!

  • Neshannock High School is once again assisting the U.S. Marine Corps with its annual “Toys for Tots” campaign.  It has been absolutely wonderful to see the generosity of our Lancer Community, especially during the holiday season! Donations will continue to be accepted through December 14, 2016.  Donation bins are located in the offices of NHS and NMS.
  • Senior High National Honor Society has collaborated with the Rotary Interact Club to do a holiday card campaign.  Cards are being made for graduates of the District who are actively serving in various branches of the U.S. Military.  According to our records, we currently have fifteen graduates actively serving.  The holiday cards are set to hit the post office this week!
  • The United Way Blanket Drive took place during the month of November.  Under the direction of high school nurse, Mrs. Julie Morrone, high school students volunteered their time collecting, counting, and sorting blankets donated by students in grades K-12.  The blankets will be given to community shelters and homeless persons within Lawrence County.
  • National Honor Society students have been serving as volunteers for the Salvation Army Kettle Campaign all around Neshannock Township!
