Volunteers Needed for Career Fair

On April 28, 2017, we plan to hold a Career Fair for grades 7, 8, and 9 at the Neshannock Junior High School. It is our hope that we can get over 90 parents and/or members of our community to spend ½ hour with 25 – 30 of our students and share aspects of their chosen career. We would like for you to discuss some of the following:

• Training and/or education involved
• Why you chose this career
• What courses in high school that prepared you for this job
• What you do on a day-to-day basis
• Demonstrate a particular aspect of your job and/or a hands-on activity
• Opportunities/job forecast
• Salary range

We are looking for a wide variety of careers. We need nurses, x-ray technicians, mechanics, engineers, hair stylists, construction workers, etc. We are only asking for ½ hour of your time, and you can choose from the following times:

Session 1: 8:15 a.m. – 8:45 a.m.
Session 2: 8:50 a.m. – 9:20 a.m.
Session 3: 9:45 a.m. – 10:15 a.m.
Session 4: 10:20 a.m. – 10:47 a.m.
Session 5: 10:50 a.m. – 11:18 a.m.
Session 6: 11:21 a.m. – 11:43 a.m.
Session 7: 11:45 a.m. – 12:13 p.m.
