Neshannock Township School District was well represented in Boston, Massachusetts by the Lancer Band and Lancerettes! Accompanied by Miss Kim Heim, Mrs. Regina Manos, Mr. Jake Mrochek, Miss Sarah Wells, and Mrs. Sherron Henry, the group spent two days touring the sites of the city, including a performance at the Edward Kennedy Institute. Students toured the JFK Library, New England Aquarium, and downtown Boston, including Quincy Market.
The students, as well as their families, worked hard to fundraise for this fun, educational weekend experience. Pizza Joes coupons and lottery tickets sales, in addition to proceeds from concession stand sales made this trip possible. We are so glad that the students were able to not only share their musical and dance talents with those in Boston, but that they also had a wonderful (snowy) experience together!
