Kindergarten Celebrates Spring

Kindergarten students at Neshannock Memorial Elementary School had a very special day today!  We were able to hold the Annual Spring Spectacular, a bonnet parade and egg hunt.

With the help of their families, students created beautiful spring bonnets and hats for the parade.  Led by the Lancer Marching Band, they proudly marched into the football stadium where their parents, grandparents, and special guests were waiting for them.

Kindergarten teacher Miss Marly Nichols kept the egg hunt going as Mrs. Lynne Jones, Mrs. Tracy Juricich, Mrs. Leanne Memo, and Mrs. Danielle Norge helped the kids find the eggs and chase down the occasion bonnet caught by the wind.  Peter Cottontail, (Mr. Jesse Reynolds, NMS Teacher) hippity hopped all over the field with the Spring Chick (Sam Ball, NHS Junior) much to the delight of the children.

Special thanks to everyone who worked together to make this happen for our students.  It was absolutely wonderful to watch our kindergarteners and listen to their squeals of joy — what a wonderful tradition!
