District Update on Masking

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court affirmed the Commonwealth Court’s decision and vacated the mask mandate issued by the acting secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Health on Friday, December 10, 2021.

Effective immediately, Neshannock Township School District will return to operations under the original reopening plan. Masks or other face coverings are optional and no longer required.

In complying with CDC orders, universal masking continues to be required while on any District transportation for any reason. This includes all students and staff, regardless of vaccination status.
