Spring Spectacular

Kindergarten students at Neshannock Memorial Elementary School had a very special day as we held the Annual Spring Spectacular, a bonnet parade and egg hunt, on March 30.

With the help of their families, students created beautiful spring bonnets and hats for the parade. Led by the Lancer Marching Band, they proudly marched into the football stadium where their parents, grandparents, and special guests were waiting for them.

Student emcees Ella Kosior and Ronalyn Slagle kept the egg hunt going as Mrs. Cameron, Mrs. Memo, Mrs. Moody, Mrs. Norge, and Mrs. Watterson kept the eager and excited kindergarten students in order. Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny (Mrs. Kathy Kalpich and Senior Ashlyn Hayes) hippity hopped all over the field with spring chick and duckling (Seniors Dani Memo and Brianna Mastropietro) much to the delight of the children.

We are grateful to everyone who worked together to make this happen for our students. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer day! It was absolutely wonderful to watch our kindergarteners and listen to their squeals of joy.

What a wonderful tradition!
