A Message from the Memorial Elementary Principal

Heasley

Mr. Matt Heasley

On behalf of the outstanding teachers and staff of Neshannock Memorial Elementary School, I would like to welcome you to our/your school.

At Memorial we have a rich history of academic excellence. The academic basics are extremely important to us, and we strive everyday to help your child become a better problem solver, and to think more critically. We strongly believe in educating the whole child. On a weekly basis the students receive computer instruction, physical education, art instruction, music instruction, and library instruction, all from certified and highly qualified professionals.

We place a high value on working as a team with parents. In my opinion, our PTO is second to none, and I would encourage you to become part of this extremely important organization. We feel that students perform best when parents and teachers work together as partners. Our teachers pride themselves on the open communication that exists here at Neshannock Memorial between parents and educators. The student is the one who benefits when parents and teachers work together.

It is my honor, privilege, and pleasure to be your principal. As I enter my twenty-fifth year, I can tell you, unequivocally, that there is no place I would rather work than at Neshannock Memorial Elementary School.

Matt Heasley
Elementary Principal

A Message to Families Regarding Teacher Requests

Parents,

Parents may not request for their child to have a specific teacher. However, a parent may request for their child to NOT have a specific teacher. This request should be emailed to Mr. Heasley by the last day of May, each school year. No child will be moved from a teacher’s classroom once a placement has been made.

Thank you,

Matt Heasley
Principal
