Memorial Elementary School

A Message from the Memorial Elementary Principal

Mr. Jesse Reynolds

Dear Neshannock Families,

On behalf of the exemplary teachers and staff at Neshannock Memorial Elementary School, it is with great honor that I, Jesse Reynolds, introduce you to our school. At Memorial, we uphold a tradition of excellence, driven by our commitment to teaching the whole child and collaborating with families to ensure the success of all our precious students.

We believe in maximizing the potential of each child through whole-child cognizance and best practices that foster and edify the intellectual, physical, emotional, and social development of all children. We trust that through positive expectations, placing respect for everyone on a pedestal, meaningful behavior interventions, coherence in professional learning communities, equipping students with higher-order thinking skills, and active parent involvement, unprecedented achievement is possible. Each curricular facet for every grade level is equipped with both cerebral and behavioral additions in order to yield comprehensive achievement for each child.

I believe our family-to-school relationships are unparalleled. Our outstanding PTO is one feature that distinguishes our school from others. We encourage families  to join this second-to-none association and become a part of an organization that contributes tremendously to making Memorial the special school it is. Parents and guardians need to be a part of their child’s education, and when families and teachers work in partnership, the academic and behavioral growth of the child is more achievable. Our teachers take pride in a broad system of open communication with families that has undoubtedly played a part in making Neshannock Memorial a standard of excellence.

The 2024-2025 school year marks the beginning of my new role as a school administrator.  With utmost certainty, there is no other place on Earth where I would rather work than Neshannock Memorial Elementary School. My experience as a teacher at Neshannock Memorial has been a tremendous blessing to my life. For sixteen years, I have been enriched through interacting with an all-star cast of administrators, board members, fellow teachers, families, and countless children. I vow to do my very best to make a positive impact on the lives of all of the children at Memorial.

Parents,

Parents may not request for their child to have a specific teacher. However, a parent may request for their child to NOT have a specific teacher. This request should be emailed to Mr. Reynolds by the last day of May, each school year. No child will be moved from a teacher’s classroom once a placement has been made.

Thank you,

Jesse Reynolds
