Junior High Career Day

On April 28, 2017, over ninety speakers from our community and beyond gather together to volunteer their time to our students for a Career Fair held at Neshannock Junior-Senior High School.  Students in seventh, eighth, and ninth grades participated in this career guidance experience.

The day was divided into ten sessions with students choosing specific sessions based on their personal interests.  A wide variety of careers and professional areas were presented at the Career Fair, including law enforcement, funeral home directors, teachers, professors, healthcare professions, fitness instructors, marketing, sales, real estate, 911 emergency operators, pilots, fashion buyers, engineers, firefighters, chefs, athletic trainers, psychologists, employment recruiters, landscapers, financial advisors, lawyers, judges, trades, roofing, cosmetology, and many, many more!

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to those who volunteered their time to inspire our learners!  Also, special thanks to junior high principal, Dr. Tracy McCalla, and junior high secretary, Mrs. Lisa Leya, for planning and executing such a well-run event!
