Make-A-Wish Foundation: World Wish Month

VOTE FOR THE BEST DRESSED STAFF MEMBER BY DONATING TO THEIR COLLECTION BOX ON APRIL 12! ALL DONATIONS BENEFIT THE MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION!

Did you know that April is World Wish Month?

The Make-A-Wish Foundation commemorates their origin and humble beginnings on World Wish Day, but their mission deserves more than just a day! Their World Wish Month campaign is about WishMakers of all kinds — a nod to their founders, the original WishMakers, and a rallying cry for others to join their mission.

Please consider joining the Superintendent’s Advisory Council and Extreme Leaders Jake Rynd and Chloe Maalouf in their mission to making Neshannock Township School District “WishMakers” for the Make-A-Wish Foundation this April! By reaching the goal of $5,000, NTSD will be able to fully fund the wish of one critically ill child.

Faculty, staff, and students can all work together to reach this worthy goal! Staff members will be encouraged to dress up in costumes on April 12 and collect votes (donations) for being best dressed! Students may place donations in more than one staff member’s collection box. Staff members are encouraged to give participating students prizes or incentives, like bonus points, homework passes, stickers, etc. The elementary classroom with the highest donation total will receive a classroom prize! The staff member from each building with the most donations received will earn a free comp day!
