Please join us for the annual Homecoming Parade and Football Game!

A parade from the front of Neshannock High School to the Bob Bleggi Football Stadium will begin at 6:20 pm. The parade will include all Homecoming Attendants, Queen Candidates, Flower Girl, Crown Bearer, Lancer Marching Band, Auxiliary, Lancerettes, and Cheerleaders!  It is also Alumni Night!  Be sure to visit the Alumni Tent inside the stadium.

The Homecoming Ceremony will take place during halftime of the football game. The queen will be crowned by Student Government Vice President, Elena Noga, daughter of Russell and Anne Noga. Joining Elena will be flower girl, Evelyn Zeigler, daughter of Michael and Alysia Zeigler, and crown bearer, Joey Ferry, son of Christopher and Kyrie Ferry.

NHS Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors are then invited to attend the Homecoming Dance on Saturday, October 7, 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm, at the New Englander.  It is sure to be a weekend to remember for our students.

Senior Queen Candidates

Left to Right: Ava DeVincentis, Brianna Bailey, Mary Morelli, Juliana Medure, and Chloe Maalouf

Brianna Bailey is the daughter of William and Jaclyn Fleming. Her activities include track and field, tennis, cheer, and competitive cheer. She was a member of the 2023 PIAA State Champion competitive cheer team. In addition to serving as Senior Class Vice President, she is a member of FBLA, Club Hope, Mock Trial, Rotary Interact, Peer Leadership, and spring musicals. She is also a competitive dancer of fifteen years at Jennifer Leigh’s Dance Gallery, an assistant dance teacher, and a third grade cheer coach. Upon graduation, Brianna plans to attend a four-year university to pursue a degree in nursing. Brianna’s escort for the evening is Hunter Lorensen. He is the son of Erik Lorensen and Lisa Martin. Brianna’s convertible is provided by Pat Donofrio and the Union Township Fire Department, and driven by William Fleming.

Ava DeVincentis is the daughter of Mark and Melanie DeVincentis. Her activities include varsity cheer and varsity competitive cheer. Ava is a two-time State Champion earning PIAA gold in 2022 and 2023 with the varsity competitive spirit team. She is also a member of the Layups for Lucy committee and National Honor Society. Ava serves as a first grade teacher’s assistant, sixth grade cheer coach, and an ALA certified lifeguard for Neshannock Swimming Pool Association. Upon graduation, Ava plans to attend a four-year university where she hopes to continue her cheerleading career. Ava’s escort for the evening is Joey Presnar. He is the son of Bill and Leigh Ann Presnar. Ava’s convertible is provided by Ben and Briana Huffman and driven by David DeVincentis.

Chloe Maalouf is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Maalouf. She is the Student Government President, National Honor Society Vice President, FBLA Region 2 President, and a Neshannock Township Education Foundation student trustee. Chloe is a member of the varsity tennis team and senior high choir. She has also been a dancer with Jennifer Leigh’s Dance Gallery for thirteen years and a pianist for ten years. Upon graduation, Chloe plans to attend a four-year university to pursue a degree in biochemistry on a pre-med track. Her escort for this evening is Matthew Morelli. He is the son of Dr. Elizabeth Piccione and Michael Morelli. Chloe’s convertible is provided by Ben and Briana Huffman and driven by Michael Morelli.

Juliana Medure is the daughter of Jason and Bobbi Medure. Her activities include varsity cheer, competitive cheer, and varsity tennis. She was a member of the 2023 PIAA State Champion competitive cheer team. Juliana is the Senior Class President, Layups for Lucy Student Committee Leader, FBLA Vice President, National Honor Society Treasurer, and a Neshannock Township Education Foundation student trustee. She is a member of Club Hope, Superintendent’s Advisory Council, Ski Club, and Honors Choir. She volunteers her time as a sixth grade cheer coach. Upon graduation, Juliana plans to attend a four-year university to pursue a career in optometry. Her escort for this evening is Ian Menz. He is the son of Rob and Caroline Menz. Juliana’s convertible is provided by Dr. Bob and Mrs. Carleen McGann.

Mary Morelli is the daughter of Dr. Elizabeth Piccione and Michael Morelli. She is the President of the Neshannock FBLA Chapter. Mary is Future Business Leaders of America State Champion and two-time national representative. She is also a competitive dancer with Jennifer Leigh’s Dance Gallery. Upon graduation, Mary plans to attend a four-year college to pursue a degree in business administration. Her escort for this evening is Robbie Heath. He is the son of Rob and Alisa Heath. Mary’s convertible is provided by Bob and Chrissy Neff and is driven by Michael Morelli.

Gabrielle Quinn is the daughter of Chad and Denise Quinn. Her activities include varsity softball, FBLA, National Honor Society, Club Hope and the Layups for Lucy Committee. She is also a team member of the Ohio Outlaws travel softball organization. Gabrielle’s escort for the evening is Thomas Morell. He is the son of Jeff and Carol Morell. Gabrielle’s convertible is provided by Preston Mazda.

 

Sophia Stroia is the daughter of Matthew and Andee Stroia. Her activities include varsity cheer, Ski Club, FBLA, and senior high choir. In addition to her school activities, Sophia worked as a United States Senate Page over the summer and is in her third year as an employee at Irons Mill Farmstead. Sophia’s escort for the evening is Matthew Sopko. He is the son of Mr. Michael Sopko and Dr. Kelly Palumbo-Sopko. Sophia’s convertible for the evening is provided by Congressman Mike Kelly and driven by Matthew Stroia.

Aadyson Sumner is the daughter of Dan and Alissa Sumner. She is the FBLA Region 2 Vice President and a Neshannock Township Education Foundation student trustee. Aadyson is a member of Ski Club, FBLA, Student Government, Club Hope, Culinary Club, Layups for Lucy Committee, and the spring musical. She is a competitive dancer with Jennifer Leigh’s Dance Gallery and was most recently a cast member in the New Castle Playhouse production of Newsies. Aadyson’s escort for the evening is Talan Anderton. He is the son of Ryan and Romney Anderton. Aadyson’s convertible is provided by Preston Auto Group and driven by Tiffany Preston.

Julianne Kwiat is the daughter of David and Bethany Kwiat. She is a member of FBLA, Club Hope, and the Layups for Lucy Committee. Julianne is also a competitive gymnast with Off Limits Gymnastics. Nina Medure is the daughter of Jim and Erin Medure. Her activities include varsity volleyball, varsity basketball, FBLA, Club Hope, and the Layups for Lucy Committee. Nina’s escort for the evening is David Kwiat. He is the son of David and Bethany Kwiat. Nina’s convertible is provided by Gary Pezzuolo and driven by Anthony Medure.

 

Jaclyn Morrone is the daughter of Adam and Julie Morrone. Her activities include tennis, cheer, FBLA, Student Government, Club Hope, Superintendent’s Advisory Council, Layups for Lucy Committee, and spring musicals. She is also a competitive dancer with Jennifer Leigh’s Dance Gallery. Jaclyn’s escort for the evening is Phillip Jimm. He is the son of David and Adriana Jimm.
