Virtual Learning Update – October 29, 2020

2:45 pm • Thursday, October 29, 2020

Due to the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases at the Jr./Sr. High School and out of an abundance of caution, Neshannock Jr/Sr. High School students will continue to report virtually for the week of November 2 – 6, 2020.

I will be meeting with representatives of the Pennsylvania Department of Health and the Pennsylvania Department of Education late in the afternoon, on Friday, October 30, to discuss the status of Lawrence County.  Should our virtual learning plans, at the Jr./Sr. High School, need to extend beyond November 6, an announcement will be made accordingly.

At this point in time, Neshannock Memorial Elementary School continues to remain open as no elementary faculty, staff, or students have reported a positive COVID-19 case.

If your student needs his or her school supplies, please contact the high school office at 724-658-5513, ext. 5113 to make arrangements.  If your student is in need of lunch delivery while learning virtually, please contact (724) 714-1261 by 10:00 am on Monday, November 2.

As always, please continue to visit our website — NTSD.org — regularly for updates and information.  Thank you for your continued patience, support, and commitment to mitigating the spread of COVID-19 in our community.

Dr. Terence P. Meehan
Superintendent, Neshannock Township School District
