Countdown to Commencement

Class of 2021 • Commencement Ceremony
7:30 pm • June 8, 2021
Neshannock High School Football Stadium

As promised, we will be honoring our graduates in the way they deserve to be honored. In order to maximize capacity, we intend to host an outdoor Commencement ceremony at the football stadium.

Distinguished alumnus, Dr. Robert Buly, NHS Class of 1974, will deliver words of wisdom to the Class of 2021 as our Commencement speaker. Dr. Buly is currently Associate Professor of Clinical Orthopaedic Surgery at Weill Medical College of Cornell University. Additionally, he serves as Associate Attending Surgeon in the hospital of Special Surgery; Chief Emeritus, Hip Preservation Service; and Associate Attending Surgeon at New York Presbyterian Hospital.  We look forward to welcoming Dr. Buly back to his alma mater.

In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved to the high school auditorium. A decision confirming the location of Commencement will be made, by 10:00 am, on June 8.  The announcement will be posted on the District website.  Whether held outdoors or indoors, the ceremony will be live-streamed on our YouTube Channel – Neshannock Video Productions.

Guest tickets will be distributed to the Class of 2021 at rehearsal on June 2 and/or June 4. Up to six guest tickets may be redeemed for an outdoor ceremony with all guests sitting in the home bleachers for the duration of the event. Up to four guest tickets may be redeemed for an indoor ceremony with all guests sitting in the auditorium for the duration of the event.

Please review the Senior Activities document to become familiar with plans and procedures for the Class of 2021 and their guests.  We cannot wait to celebrate the Class of 2021!
