Class of 2023 – Senior Activities

As commencement quickly approaches, we have much to celebrate! The Class of 2023 will have the opportunity to participate in some fun activities as their senior year at Neshannock High School comes to a close.

On their last day of school, seniors are invited to participate in a student-run picnic to be held at Pearson Park.  The annual senior trip to Cedar Point will take place on Friday, June 2.  NHS Student Government will host a breakfast for the seniors on Monday, June 5.  This will take place in the high school cafeteria before the seniors report to the auditorium for commencement and baccalaureate rehearsals.

Led by Pastor Bryan Warner of Wayside Emmanuel Church, Baccalaureate will be held on Tuesday, June 6 at First Baptist Church of New Castle (Maitland Lane).  The commencement ceremony will serve as the final and culminating event for the Class of 2023.  The ceremony will be held on Wednesday, June 7 in the high school auditorium. Friends and family do not need tickets to attend Baccalaureate; however, tickets will be issued for commencement.  Mrs. DeVincentis, senior high counselor, will distribute the tickets to seniors.

Friends, faculty, staff, and community members are invited to sponsor a senior by financially contributed toward year-end activity expenses.  Donated funds will be used to cover senior activity fees, as well as provide assistance to students in need in the form of new clothing, shoes, etc. needed for baccalaureate and commencement. If you are interested in sponsoring a senior, please contact Mrs. Flannery, Director of Educational Services, at jflannery@ntsd.org – Thank you.

Seniors interested in attending the senior picnic, Cedar Point trip, and/or senior breakfast are to submit the 2023 Senior Activities Form and any payments due no later than Wednesday, May 10.  Forms, payments, and permission slips are to be submitted to Miss Welker (Room 138) or Mrs. Hiler (Room 133).
